Caroline Smith live at First Avenue for The Replacements Tribute 11-27-09

This was such a sweet rendition of the song "Androgynous" off The Replacements album 'Let It Be'. I haven't seen Caroline since last SXSW but her and I worked together for a couple of years at a restaurant called Chiang Mai Thai. She has the coolest voice and I know she's been traveling around the country touring with her band 'The Midnight Sleeps'. So if you see her name in your town try to check her out. It'll be really pleasant. The house band are also a grand line-up of friends. My great friend Pony is on the bass and Ryan is on the guitar. They both play in The Melismatics. Terry Eason is on second guitar. They guys on piano and drums are from Minneapolis hip-hop group The Heirospecs.
