George/Izzie - Bedshaped

A George/Izzie video! I always love when I vid these two, because I feel like I take a different approach with these two then I do with most ships. Anyway, I love the song, & I knew I wanted to vid GI to i, but then I read the meaning;


"The song is about feeling that you've been "left behind" by an old friend or lover, and about hoping that you'll be reunited one day so that you can live out the end of your lives together the way you started them (...) a hope that they'll eventually want to get away from the bright lights and come back home. it's a sad and angry song, but also full of hope."

& I think that is perfect for GI, because their friendship really took some beatings, & they hated being apart, it was so clear. So that gave it a whole different spin, & you can take it as a friendship video of a shipping video depending on your preferences.

Great video but very very sad. That song fits them perfectly. It's true for a while there, their friendship grew distant and Izzie seemed to find new friends and poor George was left behind, but I always knew they would find their ways back to each other. Yes he died, but I believe he will always be Izzie's soulmate. I miss them so much.
