thanks for your comment. You can take meinl or Schalloch either, because the entry level cajones are exaktly the same! (Schalloch is a licence from meinl - other look, but inside the same). The one with the flames has fat bass and crisp drum sounds. Its the same as a meinl headliner. The sound-difference makes the wood

They're not the same, the Schalloch cajon has 4 strings inside it, the Meinl headliner cajons only have 2.

Hi, cool groove!

im lookin at buying an entry level cajon. no more than about £80. What would you recommend? Either looking at a meinl or shalloch? both sound nice, needs to have nice bass and snappy highs...
