the novel is fucking amazing and the movie is really good... but i prefer the book cuz of the ending, in which(SPOILER) patrick's mental state is so deteriorated that you are not even sure if he actually murdered all that people, or even if the entire story is true or its a hallucination resulting from patricks insanity
