Mandukhai the Wise Queen Мандухай цэцэн хатан кино хэсэг

This is part of a movie "Mandukhai Tsetsen hatan" = Wise queen Mandukhai.
Halha(Khalkha) Mongols love Mandukhai the wise queen. She is national hero. Why? Because Halha Mongols & their leaders. I mean Halha rulers were her descendants. She led Chingghis khaan`s Mongols in civil war with Oirat Mongols. Oirat Mongols always refused to be ruled by descendants of Chingghis khaan. (They always been freedom fighters.) She proved her supremecy by force.
This showed Eastern Mongols were quit feminists and liked someone who is mentally strong. In order to rule Mongols she needed a khaan =queen`s husband. Traditions demanded A COUPLE(=LOVE) MUST RULE! Ruler must be married! Khaan must have Khatan(khatun). So she chose very young Batumöngke jonon as her khaan.

From this part of the movie you can know 2 things!
1.Mongols carry something called "Zalaa" on their hats.
2.Carrying a knife was for winners=ruling class.
Mongol name for knife is Hutga.

oh I see now that's why these so called oirat people don't have airag! they only have tsegee!! But kazakhs still have airag! interesting!! kalmyks are descendants of oirats for sure. But there is are doubts that dorvods from Mongolia are oirats as they claim???
