I had the same bass and It was a love/hate relationship......nicely made...but way heavy because of the solid wood body and it is a long neck.........I'm kinda glad I sold it but in a way I do miss it .....

omg no need to shim that neck. They are very hard basses to set-up..but very rewarding when done so.
