A happy video for the chickens we first ever rescued! They now live in 10 acres of countryside. This video is to show how far they have come.

  • how long did it take for the full transformation?

...they look lovely and happy..... im thinking of getting some hens as pets....would you recommend ex-battery hens?

  • Must have been about 3 months...sadly all those chickens passed away, when we rescued them they were already quite old.

    yes definitly!

  • They look awsome! I just got my first rescue chicken 5 days ago and have been watching and reading everything I can on chickens for a week.

Your Chicken video comes up every time on my Saving Allie Video, so I watched them.

5 stars.... Is there a ten star category?

    God bless your work.

  • so sad at first, the poor things not knowing a nice fate awaited them after that box was opened, then cue the happy music!! yay!!!!

  • Thank you for helping them!

  • This really made me smile. Thank you you have a soul. I am not religious but you are going to heaven. :)

  • did you wash your xbattery hens when you first got dem

  • Your video reminds me of some rescue hens that I took care of. They went from dirty, pail and plucked to bright white feathers and health red combs. Unlike my other chickens that would cackle, these girls would make a singing sound and love to stand in their water dish to soak their feet. The rest of their life was very good.

    sweet video

  • where can i get some ex-battery hens, I WOULD LOVE SOME, I already have a small flock of hens

  • you and your hens made my day good on you! :)

  • this brings tears to my eyes!

  • This is amazing! Isn't it rewarding? We run a bird rescue and have over 80 chickens, most are roosters though. All happy and spoiled.

  • I LOVE how it goes from sad to funky! Great job! =D
