Well hes not actually banned since it was his first "strike" But since he basically bragged about it like a piece of trash. and bragged how he race while high, noone will let him in their car unless he cleans his act up big time but even then. Its a shame too because like Shane Hmiel he had alot of talent and then threw it all away.
Fike was starting to drive down the track, and Hermie (who was slowing down) must have gotten confused as to what he was doing and ran out of time to react. Just a racin' deal!
What evidence do you have that he wasnt slowing down? My "evidence" is clear in the 2nd replay that the car was slowing. Still moving pretty fast, but clearly slowing. Remember that 3400 lb. stock cars dont stop instantaniously when the brakes are applied.
probably a combination between him running his best line on the track, and miscommunication with his spotter. Its hard to say for sure, but its obvious that he wouldn't intentionally do that.
