@EdilarinProducts when you animate the mask make sure when you move to the next keyframe, instead of moving each of the base points manually, select them both and try and keep them equidistant from each other. If they keep getting wider or thinner you will see a shakiness at the base. also try and move forward in time as many frames as possible before putting another keyframe. this will eliminate much of the shakiness.

@Ruffneck101 i've done a few tests, and they get better and better, but I don't have After Effects anymore... :(
I used AE at my college, but I don't have my own copy of it.
