My sister and I both had pretty cut and grow but the hair did not last long because we always wanted to cut our dolls hair. They should have included an order form in case our parents needed to order more hair for the dolls.

I just watched a family video of me getting one of those and freaking out. My grandpa couldn't get the doll out of the box fast enough, then after a few times I desided I was done and wanted to play wedding.

I too wanted that doll, but I think my mother knew we'd take our newly learned styling skills to one another's heads when the yarn ran out. So I just had to enjoy the commercial. I wish someone had the old video from 1981. I loved that song for some reason and still remember the tune and lyrics. I'd be curious to know how accurate they are:

I had this and my Mom figured out how to tie in regular yarn for our own hair and refill it! It was a cool toy.
