yes the m3 is a snapshot of the sampleplayback engine from the oasys. and also has the second generation karma. also the presets on the m3 are from oasys as well.

Moral of the story! buy the korg oasys .. LOL not all can afford, too expensive especially 88key version. I own a motif ES8, I do respect KORG Oasys yet. OASYS runs LINUX for the non dsp stuff, so does motif XS8.
