I paid of my cards and cut them up- now if I want to make a major purchase, I save for it. The Credit cards companies are nothing short of thieves, I equate them with drug dealers and other scum of the earth.

Congratulations on being debt free! I hope to get to that point. I agree with you 100%! It seems that the "effort" the govt. is making is a joke! We all knew the banks would rip us off before the new laws take effect... they should have made it effective at the same time they did the bailout! There are a lot of powerful people out there who are very, very greedy!

Credit contributes to a phenomenon known as spending cascades. The supply of capital is artificially inflated, "too many dollars chase too few goods," and the cost of some the most expensive yet essential items inflates.

You ask some interesting questions and I hope I can answer some of them for you. First of all the financial institutions know they could make interest rates reasonable and the economy would do better. Believe me or don't but the truth is they want to break us. They don't like democracy it inhibits their ability to make slaves out of us. There is a much much bigger plan that I wish the American people could see and I will try to tell them but I'm afraid time is running short.
