Faith in what - Temporal or Eternal? Paul did not collect from the Saints until their faith was enlarged not in temporal things but eternal. He did not take a shortcut of enlarging mens faith in their natural inclinations towards greed and covetousness which in turn would increase his temporal position while decreasing theirs.
Until your faith be increased. Increased in what? ncreased in the resurrection!
If your increasing in your earthy position some are decreasing in their earthy position. Why? Because there are limited resources.
Is your faith being increased in the resurrection from the dead to eternal life through Christ Jesus who gave himself for us.
Where is the enlarging of your faith taking you.
Mar_8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
Mar_10:29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, Mar_10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
