I like to view it as two people who were meant to share their lifetimes with eachother. I dont really dwell on the sexual aspect. I kinda believe that you can have more than one "soulmate". Souls who keep being paired with yours throughout time :) Hope that helps!

It wasnt really about the gay thing. It was more about love that transends gender, time, ect. So it is really left up to the viewer. You could just see them as two women who were like sisters, and thrown together throughout time, or you could see them as "behind the scenes" lovers. They did however have male lovers, boyfriends, husbands, ect. So at most they would be Bi-Sexual.

Yes they were...imo of course! And Renee O'Connor actually thinks so now as well I believe.

I need to check out Renee's new aspect if that's true. I love the whole debate over it. But weather someone believes they had a sexual relationship or not, there's no denying there was tension. I think that helped fule the more sensual scenes. ie: HOD dance, BTL mehendi scene, excetera. My husband and I have a deal, Xena and Gabrielle are the only people I can leave him for! :) Oh, and Johnny Depp.
