    Steven A. Smith is completely correct. Pau made the difference between the lakers winning the back to back championships in 09-10.

    He doesn't play soft, he plays finesse according to his brother Marc Gasol. By the way, stats have NOTHING to do on how tough or soft you are.

    Artest was essentially the replacement for Trevor Ariza (whether Kupchak intended directly or not). I'd put them on equal terms as far as their influences on winning championships as Lakers.
