In this NASA video segment learn how space technologies use solar power as an alternate energy supply. Spacecraft and the International Space Station (ISS) use solar sails pushed by solar wind as one way to move through space. The ISS also catches sunlight to provide electricity and oxygen to the space station.

  • This video reminds me of the 1990's educational shows for teens!!

  • this is cheese, and they left out the most important use of space solar power! Space power satellites have the potential to save the economy, the environment, and a laundry list of problems in the same shot.
