Yes, Soltz loves his troops too! He's not retired, he's still serving in the Army Reserve. God I wish you people would check him out, he gives his troops Article 15s, accuses them of theft, screams at his troops, he's such a hypocrite, and you in the media still keep bringing this two faced man on TV. Besides every troop I know that went overseas and claimed PTSD has had the opportunity to go to the VA or Walter Reed, including myself.

The US government does not support it's troops or it's veterans. The troops get treated poorly because they are treated as canon fodder.

How can you, as a POW, even think that you could burden your wife with mental issues after being imprisoned and tortured for 5 years?

If you enlist as a soldier for your country, you better know what you are doing. Or else you're liable to ruin our sunday picnic in the park, honey. How unpleasant! So, don't you dare be a psychological wreck after traumatic experiences. After all, it's not our fault(or even our shared responsibility, for that matter)!

This failure of a woman called Cindy McCain pisses me off to no end! My father enlisted at the tail end of the Korean war and signed up again for a tour at the beginning of the VietNam war. He was never captured nor did he crash anything. But I remember as a kid that he'd wake up from a nap and be very defensive, almost violent, from a dream he'd had about his time "over there". He never talked about it until I was much older, the things he saw and almost had happen to him (snipers mostly).

Ugh, I swear the more I learn about the McCains the more and more they disgust me.

I'm glad I got diagnosed with PTSD because it proves I'm somewhat normal even after Iraq.

If John McCain is fine after crashing 5 jets and spending 5 years as a POW then I guess I am the next Dahli Lama.

McCain voted against body armor. Hmm... he seems to have worn some when he did his little tour of some market in Baghdad. He also had heavily armed escorts and helicopters tagging along. He said it was as safe as any market in America. I guess that's why the troops can fight in short sleeves and tennis shorts.
