Because its cheeses and predictable to the point of insanity, its all seen so many times before that its not funny any more, it's just a primitive piece of shit...You dont care at all who will live or die, no ones appealing in any way, it's just a trash movie like most hollywood are, made to grab money on a quickie and bye, no one remmembers it tommorow any more...

They changed a lot from the book. They left out the Oracle and a bunch of the Greek Gods that comes out. Plus, when they go to Hades' palace, Persephone isn't here she's with Demeter because it's summer when they have the quest. Also, where's Clarisse?

The 'U' thing is an omega. A letter from the Greek language. Indeed, the book says it is on 600th floor but the omega must mean 600 or something like that.
