Marian over at www.touchmods.org has created a recording application for the ipod touch (1.1.X only) that utilizes the touchmods microphone. The application has many features and gives you the ability to have full control over your recordings.
This application is great for recording lectures (speeches), music (concerts), and many other things.
It is available from our website. Here is the link.

i downloaded the zip and extracted it
then i moved touchstudio.app to the applications folder on my ipod
I then resprung my springboard and the icon was there, when i launch the app however, it just crashes after a couple of seconds

U gotta change the permissions bro.
Highlight all files in the .app folder, then right click and change the permissions to 755. If that doesnt work try 777, or 775.
Peace

can u use it as a mic for the ipod touch to make calls?
raidershaters 3 years ago
of course.
But the mic I have you can only use it on 1.1.x.
If your on 2.2 then you can get a Macally iVoice III to use for VoIP.
