How similar to America's favorite pastime is the Japanese version? Let your inner baseball fan run wild at this nail-biting game between Osaka's Orix Buffaloes and the opposing Soft Bank Hawks.

  • Dsenuik,

What u mean its not true at all?? Its a different culture with a different atmosphere that's all. It's still baseball. Is the American game any more true than the Japanese with all this steroid shit going on? How true is that?

  • 悪い人じゃないとは思うんだけど、上から目線が鼻につくんだよな。

  • If I ever get to Japan this would be the sort of thing I would see first. I like their enthusiasm.

  • @Mortskcab Me too. And Tsuyoshi Nishioka is one of my favorite players on the MN Twins.

  • What life hating losers hit thumbs down on this video?

    Their lives must suck.

  • @walkerctranger It's why I don't like going to sporting events in America. Any stadium you go to you need at least a regiment of armed guards to keep the scum at bay who are "exercising their rights".

Japan's culture is far superior to the states on many levels, though not all. Baseball is one of them. It's very spirited.

  • Wow being in the stands in japanese baseball seems like it would be 10000 times more fun.. When I go to yankee games, everyone is quiet or drunk, loud and offensive I feel like Im going to get stabbed by somebody.

  • While it's 2 awesome and unique cultures, it's still the same game that both nations love.

  • My team just signed Tsuyoshi Nishioka. I love the style of baseball that the japanese play.

  • @SusanMooreSan They are also the most hated team

  • lol that little girl in the end haha, so cute.

  • I am searching for legendary Japanese baseball stories that match things like Ruth's called shot, the shot heard round the world, Masaroski's walk-off shot to win the 1960's world series, Mays' over the shoulder catch and throw to win the first game of the series, Kirk Gibson's heroic hit with severely injured knees, only at-bat and gone! There has to be those kind of moments in Japanese ball, and I really would like to hear of them or see film of it.
