  • Obviously my tastes are too "Western" to underrstand exactly what drew the late Brian Jones to record this. It sounds disorganized; I cannot discern a melody. YMMV

  • Mr. Jones apparently went into he hills in Morocco, where its tribes people live(d). It was her he recor'one of their ceremonies where 'kif' is smoked, a young male is dressed in goatskin, as Pan.

  • He chases the woman of the village. The pipers 'pipe', and the drummers 'drum' (I beleive for two weeks). On the album, you can hear dogs barking, and lighting rolling in the hills.

  • Try again, if you get it, you won't forget (regret) it.

A bit like the Nyabhingi men of Jamaica. There is no framework to the music, to say orchestral, though actually there is.

  • Amazng video. Goes well with the Jajouka trance music

  • Thank you. I am pleased you enjoyed it
