@bugio22 incorrect. car was reversing, gotta make sure all is clear when reversing.
-
As the sedan was reversing, and they swung out, car at fault.
-
@jamie381 well every one can have there own apinion but i personly think the car is at fault and i dont think the truck driver even knew there was going to be a parralel park due to no working lights on the car
-
looks to me that the car was at fault no indicater or reverse lights well i couldnt see them i could be wrong it may be the camera qaulity didnt show

In the UK if you are reverse parking and see any hazard you must stop. This includes nearby pedestrians or a moving vehicle which might come closer to you.

@roadmonitoroz Ya, when I start driving(2 1/2 years from now)I'm going to make sure when I park I'm gonna make sure I'm as far away from traffic as posible
-
@roadmonitoroz Ya, when I start driving in 3 years I'll make sure to be as far away from the traffic as possible

@jamie381 I'm with you on this one. The truck driver should have waited for the car to park and clear the lane before moving. Its bad practice (at least here in the UK where roads are generally a little narrower) to overtake a car when its parallel parking. That said, the car driver also needs to take some of the blame for not stopping when the truck started to overtake. Someone starts to pull round, stop and wait for them to pass in case they don't give enough room, as happened in this case.
Thats what I call a "love tap" lol just barely nicked him, I bet the truck driver didn't know he/she had hit that car. Probably knew it was close but didn't think a crash happened. Also, if someone was tailgatting that truck they would have crashed into that car.

@CPWindsorsub True. Only a minor incident. I hope he learned his lesson while reverse parking. He was only a new driver. (p plater)

@rextar23 Yeah, only a minor touch (mostly plastic) and I was far away from it with the windows up so I wont hear it.

What camera are you using? How did you get it to display your stats? (speed, direction etc.)?
