i'm welsh, and its really strange that we end up using english when we're speaking Welsh. Its just Cerys in this interview tho, its cos she doesnt use welsh much anymore she finds it easier in english. but ye, it is annoying.
Can someone explain why English is being dropped into the Welsh conversation, when Welsh should be used throughout? (I know some English words are 'on loan' and some Welsh words are pronounced the same as their English counterparts, albeit spelt in Welsh). But still, it's nice to hear the native language being spoken.
I say never disempower that lovely language that is Cymraeg!
@dimgwalltameiben Cerys is fluent, IIRC.

She could speak perfect Welsh if she wants to, she's just a middle class girl trying to sound like a "gangsta". Sad!

Yeah I know, it's annoying if you ask me. Either they do it in English and give the poor girl subtitles.
