  • I'm using CPC1824 solar cell from Clare; featuring 4V output, internal switching circuitry and 100uA each. The supercap inits charging with MCU and radio turned off. The MSP430F2274 comsumption is 0.7uA on standby mode. In active mode the MCU current rises to 270uA/MHz and CC2480 exibits 26.7mA on RX mode. Therefore, suitable low power software strategies must be used.

  • Sir, I like your presentation and the design of the circuit board and software.

However, I don't see the method of charging by solar cell. I don't see the solar cell in the circuit board or in your schematic under "charging method". Will you please tell me how it is charged?

  • Obrigado. Visual C++ 6.0 abrindo porta serial virtual COM (driver Texas).

  • Prof. Dirceu, primeiramente parabéns pelo trabalho. Ficou muito bom mesmo!

Que linguagem de programação usou para fazer o software do computador?

  • Depends on sensor. The most simplest solution use an integrated PIR module with a normally open output. The target board has several MCU pins grouped in a set of holes ready for use as digital input.

  • for my project, I need to connect a motion sensor to the target board, so that when there is a motion, a command is sent from that target board to another node. I see that you have mad a PCB for the target board, instead of using the battery board that comes with the target board in the package.

Could you please tell me if I could connect a motion sensor directly to this board, or do i need to design a PCB board using the CC2480 chip???

    Thanks a lot
