Grumpy Jii-san's been watching cartoons for way too long. Today he's onboard for a fun train ride.
This time, the narration is shot in Arizona's Dry Creek area of the Coconino National Forest.

After all of the Galaxy Express reviews you've made, I expected this to be another one...
I really like how you manage to keep a straight face with all your jokes, though. Thanks for bringing this anime to my attention!

The light novels add a lot of detail, are set in chronological order and even go way way further than the anime (the anime is mostly the first novel).
But nothing beats the style, coolness, mystery and pure insanity of the anime, I recommend watching the anime first to anyone who intends to read the novels, it is a much cooler introduction to the story, and you can make sense of it later, by either rewatching or reading.
