  • I'm Tom Gray with the American Wind Energy Assocation, and I'd have to disagree with charliep3 and his friend. As a resource, I'd suggest the 20% Wind by 2030 Report recently published by the U.S. Department of Energy and available at 20percentwind-dot-org .

  • charliep3, can you direct me to some of the arguments against industrial wind energy? I am not very familiar with the cost/benefit analysis, but I would agree that most proponents are seemingly unwilling to elaborate on any drawbacks (and I would assume some serious ones exist)

  • I've read the best arguments I can find for and against industrial wind and the people who say it's a waste of national treasure make a stronger case in my view. The proponants repeat their slogans and ignore or deny concerns and objections without elaborating. Industrial wind is hurting a lot of people in a big way and that is ignored im the most disengenuous way.
