When Bill Jacocks left NBC to continue his news media career at Cleveland's WEWS-TV5, his music ambitions followed. As earlier with Purple Image his aim, in 1974, was to help an unknown singer/artist showcase their talent ( using his music, so it wasn't totally altruistic). This time he would be gender specific; write for a female singer and do the arrangement. He found Pat Stallworth singing at a community theater: her voice was innocent, with a contradicting sultriness. And this silky side to jazz/funk resulted.
