Side-Swiped: Allison Jones, Loni Landon & Yin Yue

Allison Jones, Loni Landon and Yin Yue create and perform in a new work titled "Side-Swiped" for WestFest 2011, with music by Alva Noto and John Zorn. Combining their unique experience as professional dancers who have performed all over the world, these up-and-coming New York City based choreographers have a lot to offer: Loni's inventive partnering and speedy phrases, Allison's quirky and visceral movement, and Yin's vocabulary featuring the juxtaposition of composure vs. wildness. "Side-Swiped" is innovative, dynamic and cutting-edge.

Our piece will be in program B of WestFest which takes place on:
Friday, 4/29 at 9pm
Sunday, 5/1 at 8pm
