Dunwoody Police seek women in perfume thefts.

DUNWOODY, Ga. - Police in Dunwoody are seeking several women and one man, wanted in connection with the theft of thousands of dollars worth of cosmetics from an Ulta Beauty store.

And they are asking the public for assistance.

Pictures captured from surveillance video show several women and a man during different thefts of an Ulta Beauty store located at the Dunwoody Shopping Center off of Ashford Dunwoody Road. The thefts have occurred during the last several months.

Police say the suspects carry large handbags into the store, then walk out with thousands of dollars worth of designer perfume and cosmetics -- $9,000 in last few months.

Sgt. Mike Carlson of the Dunwoody Police Department says there is no pattern to the thefts. He says suspects strike at any time of the day, whether the stores are busy or not busy.

According to Carlson, usually one to three of the suspects will enter the store, grab the items, and then exit. He says the thieves are not stealing the items for personal use, but will sell them.

Police say the suspects were last seen in a 2003 blue Honda Accord and have identified at least one of the women as 17-year-old Kanisha Wallace. She was arrested during a shoplifting incident at Perimeter Mall in November. The mall is less than a mile from the Dunwoody Ulta store.
