Along the lines of "The Laramie Project" and "The Exonerated" with flavors of the post-modernism movement as well as the elegance and beauty of dance theatre, "Revealed" is a revolutionary, unbiased expose on the world of adoption.
Featuring true life testimonies, unaltered from actual adoptees, birth parents, and adoptive parents "Revealed" is an attempt to present a realistic, unfiltered, fully rounded tale of adoption. With adoption in the media at its peak, featured in the media through shows/movies such as "Secret Life of the American Teenager" , "Juno", and "Teen Mom" the public is getting a never-before-seen look into the once closed world of adoption. But are these interpretations accurate? Or are they influenced by the views of society? And 99% of the time the story just ends at the hospital.
It's time the story was told by those who live it. They deserve to have their story told in full, presented to the public in their own words. No more lies, no more secrets, no more false promises. "Revealed" a story of adoption - unfiltered, raw, emotional, and true.

Hello. I am a recently reunited adoptee. I am currently a theatre arts major in the Boston area and composing a senior project that reflects my experiences with adoption. But I would like to give the project a wider scope and represent more than my own opinions and emotions. I would like to create a collage of different experiences in order to paint a unified portrait of the truth behind adoption.
I am looking for submissions to include in my piece. These can be anything from memoirs, letters, poems, songs, art etc. Anything relating to adoption can be used.
You will be credited if I use any of the material in the production (unless you wish to remain anonymous). There will be no monetary compensation as this is a non-profit, educational production. By submitting your work you acknowledge your approval for your work to be used in an original script and any resulting performances.
I promise to approach all material with the utmost respect. Adoption is often overlooked or stereotyped, it is time to represent the truth. Your involvement would mean the world to me. Please help me tell your story!
You can e-mail me your submission at bwing@students.stonehill.edu
Thank you for your time,
Brianna
