Cyclists want everybody to kneel down to them. I see them break the law after law after law when are they going to follow the laws?
-
There isn't enough enforcement of bicycle traffic law in the US
-
The problem is that most motorists have never seen anything from a cyclist's point of view. Cyclists are at the mercy of the motorists. There should be stricter laws about this as well as more bike lanes. Us cyclists are doing the world a favor, don't penalize us

I know that it's SOP for people in the wrong to lie, lie some more, then blame the victim., so it couldn't be more gratifying to see this fucktard's own bus cams catching him in every one of his lies. I hope the driver got time for this and lost his license - y'know, like they'd do to, say, an attorney... And how sweet it would be if the real world caught up with the rest of the lying, clueless scum out there.

@SomeReefer those are some seriously batty ideas you got swishing around in that (soft) skull of yours.
-
most of what you said is incorrect. possibly all.
Lisa Stankovich, Flagstaff deputy city attorney said:
"“Since the bicyclist in this case was in a bike lane at the time of the alleged violation, and it is our opinion that a violation occurred, it is thus clear that we think the 3-foot rule applies in all situations when a vehicle overtakes a bicycle traveling in the same direction, whether in a bike lane or not,"

Cameras help the bus drive out in this. The law the cyclist refers to applies to a cyclist who is in a traffic lane. As the video shows he is riding like a dumb ass in the emergency lane almost on the line. If you want to reference a law maybe you should know what it means and what it pertains to. This would be a valid case if the (liberal) cyclist were in an actual lane.

Also as a cyclist you can legally ride in the middle of a narrow lane If it's under 14 feet wide. In most states this is legal, and the law. perhaps the PD does not know this, or it is not clearly stated in the local laws.

Bus Driver= I don't have to give you any room because your in the bike lane. That's absoutley crap considering his vehicle is 100 times bigger and heavier., and a cyclist is much more likely to be injured by a vehicle passing so close at high speed. I think the driver needs to take a bicycle safety course and learn a few things before he injures someone.

lol
Best of luck with getting to your goal. the bus driver needs some form of punishment and it looks like everyone involved including the police needs a lesson on the laws.
