Unreleased (last) single and final performance by TSC, here recorded for Japan TV when they were a band no more. Since this video is disappeared from utube, I reup'd it for anthological purposes.

  • Weller's vocals are awesome here. I always felt his voice sounded the best in the TSC years and his first two solo albums -- that was primetime for his singing.

  • @tubby61 LMAO! And they are a damn good band, Imagination. :-)

  • the vocals are the only good thing about it if i like british soul id go listen to imagination

  • @SoulstylistJukebox

Could not agree more...to both points.

  • This song should be released, its a shame it wasnt in the first place!!!

  • Wow thanks for this, I've never seen it before. Great track and good performance though I suspect they're lip syncing?

It sounds that way, especially with the fade out at the end and it doesn't even look like the guitars are plugged in.

  • I honestly feel this is their best single. Weller's vocal on this is superb.

  • simply fantastic sound. Sounds very good and very fresh even now.

  • Has there ever been a better single rejected and refused release? This is a deep house masterpiece as good as most of what was coming out of Chicago, Philly etc

  • weller always tried originality with his material. all his music has a mod feel to it. Even this track has a philly sound to it. He truly does deverve the mantle of modfather in all his material. He had the balls to take it forward whilst all his contemoraraies faded with the times even secret affair slipped away into nothing. long live your legacy paul, bass wejuns, attitude with the sixties feel emebedded into all your work and being!!!
