Hmmm... so.. I guess if you just put it right into the bag after blanching, the food saver will squash it! (lol.. no pun intended!) Good video and idea - Thanks (and thanks for suscribing to my channel - I've done same w/yours!)

I steam my squash as if i were going to eat it right away then freeze it. The texture is much better.

Other ways of using up your Courgettes (Zucchinis) is to make Chutneys, Ratatouille, or Courgette Loaf. Thanks for sharing.

I do corn that way only soak in ice water after boiling. I did freeze some squash last year and found a way to do it using the microwave. It was very easy, did not taste like fresh picked though. lol Should try it your way, thanks for sharing.
