Video of a Mother doe defending the lifeless body of her newborn fawn.
The fawn was accidentally killed by a farmer's hay cutter as it lay in a field.
This footage was shot over several hours as the Mother deer relentlessly protected her baby.
As I shot this I couldn't help but feel her anguish as she tried to protect that which she loved so dearly, her child.
We as human beings could learn a great deal from the actions of this one animal's determination and loyalty. If you have a heart you will find it here.
