In order to get a decisive or strategic victory we need to occupy or attack the Pakistani mountain tribal regions. Thats where the Taliban launch their attacks from. The Pakistanis are not doing enough. I bet some high up Pakistanis officials support the Taliban.

It's really hard to judge. We would be criticized for being involved, but then again if we did nothing at all, we would still receive criticism for not taking action. Of course there are other reasons why we are sending fighters over there, I realize.
