An Nd:YAG laser is used for laser ablation of a solid Sn target for purposes of introducing atomic Sn into a z-pinch plasma. The addition of Sn to a nitrogen plasma creates extreme ultraviolet light. This experiment assists in the develop of energetic debris diagnostics, as well as testing various debris mitigation techniques.
