It is time we recognize the problem of VLT machines in Manitoba and what the full cost to its citizens is.
It is hard to find help for people that need it, when the people who try to help, are funded by the losses of the gambler. I sincerely hope this helps someone, somewhere, understand that they are not alone in their addiction.

VLTS are merely one example of how we as a society, increase problems we claim to want to reduce, by generating growing revenue from them.

Why we 'gamble' in the first place is the underlying deeper question.

We've developed an entire culture based on betting on the short term future, with little regard to long term realities.

'don't play them' is sound advice, and one can see the evidence as to why, in this video.

this isnt about a gambeling problem gambeling is a game of chance, a computer that is supposed to make money is not a game of chance, it is not gambelling, its a donation to the goverment. the only reason anyone ever winns, is to get them to keep comming back again and again.. gambelling is not a problem with fair odds, but vlt's arnt fair, and its a conspiracy although it isnt, as to why these machiens are legally allowed in bars,
