Here is a clip of Tom Jones and Janis Joplin performing 'Raise Your Hand' together on 'This Is Tom Jones' from 1969.

I would like to say thank you to the many thousands of viewers that have made this performance my most popular video.

At the time when this clip was broadcast in 1992 on Channel 4 (UK) it was thought that this 16mm film recording was the only copy remaining in the archives. Luckily, the original videotapes do exist and these shows can now be bought on DVD.

The copyright in these programmes now belong to Tom Jones.

    Watched Tom's show as a little girl and then saw him '96 and he may have had some male foundation garments on but he also brought his moves and his voice. HOT! Janis is timeless. They're going to groove on in heaven!!

    I have a newfound respect for Tom Jones as an artist! There are clips of him on youtube like this one showing him singing with many of the amazing vocalists of the 60's.
