Here is a clip of Tom Jones and Janis Joplin performing 'Raise Your Hand' together on 'This Is Tom Jones' from 1969.
This is a higher quality version of the clip that I posted back in february 2007. I would like to say thank you to the thousands of viewers that have made the first version of this performance my most popular video.
I also took the opportunity to correct the date on the title :-)

The list was not intended to include the crooners and singers of that ilk ..ie. Frank, Judy Garland, bing Crosby etc...it was a list for singers with roots to Rock & Roll , that came from Blues, Soul and Gospel ..hence the inclusion of Solomon Burke...TJ would have been included in a possible selection cuz he was a Soul singer ..but again, was not chosen by HIS PEERS !! Get it ...he didn't make the cut , Girlfriend ...Janis and Aretha DID however ..eat THAT dust..Buh Bye
The list included Ray Charles, John Lennon, Elvis, Otis Redding, Joni Mitchell, Etta James, Karen Carpenter...a very credible list of the Greatest " singer's ".. if Tom Jones was good enough he surely would have made it ...but alas, no where to be found and for the Last time...Tom Jones was NEVER AS popular as Elvis for Heaven's sake..YOU are the idiot and your opinion is in the minority...Bye, Loser !!
Yeah but the list is missing Frank Sinatra who was ofc very great singer also lots of others who had more vocal ability than Otis, i mean Tom Jones had more range, power and better tehcnique than Elvis... But as i said its about Singers and about their recordings... The list is highly criticized as are all the lists from Rolling Stone magazine.. there are lots of better singers with vocal abilities than Bob Dylan... But they are not in the list hmmm...
Its just funny how to read this shit, first u dont know the facts, then you change the topic, you take a things and change what i said, to things i didint say.... hahahahhahahahaha... This just shows your IQ, well it aint greater than Janis size shoe size..
Rolling Stone lists are highly criticized.. Tho i agree with many artists on the lists, still many artists are overlooked.
