Culex level 3 (part 1)

No cheats or anything, not nearly as hard as smithy this is actually fairly easy with lazy shell. I did this on emulator instead of my snes becuase my saves randomly erase (batteries dieing) I might have used the fast forward in this battle too shorten to video.

Me doing my lvl.3 challenge vs Culex. Got lazy with the music so just grabbed the normal game music and put it on repeat since you can't hear it in the vid and it's awesome.

Ummmm I tried this battle about 5-6 times before I finally beat him, and then at the end my lucky egg ended up with the coins so I had to do it over again.

Nothing exiting really but ya, ahah had to post this.

Nope, After you beat the bomb guy in moleville you get a lucky egg. When you use the egg it gives you lucky status and at the end of the battle it lets you play a mini game to double your experience or get none at all. If you only fight the bosses until then you will only be level 3.

This is a level 3 game... <_<. She's not going to be able to heal anyone anyway, and Bowser's not even attacking.

with lazy shell is easy... go with normal equip or no equip...

Use Lucky Hammer and Lucky Jewel, and make sure you get xp and get it wrong to get 0 xp, now the only possible way to do this is with save states, if anyone else knows a way to get xp rather than coincs and get it wrong every single time then I'd like to know.

um, you don't really want bowser to have the lazy shell, because it lowers attack and magic attack. Its good for Toadstool, because she is normally weak in attacking, and can with stand attacks.

on the first part when you opened items.. i saw exlixers.. are there really those in mario rpg ? O.o i haven't seen any! only max mushrooms + royal syrups

Oh, I forgot to mention how they work.

Using the Lucky Jewel in-battle will generate a Lucky Egg game after the battle. Same with the Lucky Hammer if you do a combo attack with it.

You just have to hope for the Experience Lucky Egg game rather than Coin Lucky Egg, or else you have to do the battle over again. Instead of picking the Yoshi egg to win double, you pick the lose one to get 0 experience. Since the lowest level possible for a Lucky Jewel is lvl 3 Mario, that's how he did it.

Lucky Hammer + Lucky Jewel.

You get the Lucky Jewel in Mole Village, and Lucky Hammer (just called Hammer) before (or maybe just after) you fight Yaridovich.
