Schools Environmental Education and Development's Organic Classroom Programme helps schools to develop permaculture gardens, which supplement school feeding schemes; assists teachers to use this as a teaching tool. They further develop, publish and distribute textbooks and training materials; and provides accredited Permaculture Training. They work in schools in the Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, and Gauteng
