I have taken apart 2 iPod touch 2nd generations, one being the original MB model, and the other being the newer MC model, I replaced the digitizer and the LCD screen, both with complete success, and I also had to solder the gold home button thing back on because I accidently broke it off, now I need to replace the audio port because it had gotten wet and no longer functions, this video helped a lot.

im worried this will fuck my ipod up, can this be done in apple store and how much will it cost if so?
nice one (Y) work completely fine, despite the fact both my safe open tools snapped and cracked the screen, but easily replaced

@Hellzpaperboy01 Yes the safe open tools break to easily that is why we are now recommending the iSesamo tool.
