This is the speed up video of me creating "woman spirit". This was a fun and long project but I did it to try out a few new techniques.
I did not use a tablet on this project... this was done with a mouse!

I created one layer for the shadows and one layer for the highlights. With the highlights layer I adjusted the curve to give it ridiculous highlights and then put a layer mask to cover it up. Then I went through with my tablet and brush at about 13% and painted the highlights in. Once I was finished with the shadows and the highlights, I copied the highlights layer and drug it up to create a spiritual effect. So basically I used the original woman as a template to paint the spirit.

This is really cool. I wish I could make it but its too fast to follow and I can't tell what your clicking most of the time. Do you have a written version of this. I'm trying to make a soul like you did and I haven't had much luck.
