if punk is dead, it can always be revived, it just takes a normal human being like you and me with a much different out look than others and they form a band and write about the world around them and add an attitude to it, then punk will be revived but the question after it is revived is "how long will it last until people screw it up once again?"

it doesnt piss me off, they are wrong though, i never thought of green day as punk, they dont have the right ideology or feeling that real punk does, more like just some rock band, punk is about the ideology and the feeling you get at the gigs, and open minded is one thing that is huge within the ideology, like all the bands including cricle jerks had something to say whether it was about the government or the people around, but yeah, i say its mostly about the ideology, what you make of it.
