@pammitty That is why we must remove the oil from the sand to clean up this huge oil spill and make the sand and forest clean for the good of the world. We can sell the oil and make money and work kfor thousands of people at the same time, that is called a win win.
Every year we find better and cleaner ways to remove the oil and instead of complaining about it, help develope even better ways. Try using your brain and not your mouth.

@webicity: Greenpeace-Canada-Propaganda is a nice thing, expecially if it's paid by global investors via US-Tides Foundation, as Vivian Krause reports. But the real point is, that first tar sand drilling started in 1997 (massively increased in 2000), but in 1986 a paper came out (Sci Total Environ. 1986 Oct;54:107-25) showing intoxication in Alberta Indian villages. So how could there be pollution bevore starting drilling if tar sands would not naturally cause problems? No logic?

I notice the workers have to use gas masks just to work with this nasty stuff. I just hope enough people will see the mess this is and stop it.

Greenpeace would be using their resources better if they told people to install CFLs in their homes. If everyone one in America replaced one incadscent bulb in their home with a cfl bulb it would be equivalent to taking 7.5 million cars off of the road. Their is lots more things the oil in fort Mac is used for then just to make gassoline the oil produced up their is a key ingredient in solar panels, as well as a lubricant for the bearings on windmills.

@oboqoo You're getting a bit worked up over this. The point is, no matter how much you yell at the sand, put up banners and cry over the internet, the oil industry will continue unless an alternative is found, so suck it up buttercup and get on with life.
-
@oboqoo Calm down mate, I'm sorry but really, THE SAND DOESN'T CARE, GET OVER IT XD.
-
Your not very good at thinking and about as well informed as your average north American product - you're a fucking idiot. Now go away please.
-
@oboqoo Oh, I'm well informed, but I recommend you get your head checked along with them. Because it seems that nobody informed them the sand doesn't care what they have to protest, nor do the one or two workers who actually see the banner, they don't care, lol. I don't think you understand, the sand doesn't care! What are they going to protest to next? An apple tree? Lmao.
-
As I said, you're "bitching and complaining!"
They're protesting.
You're dumb, they're informed.
By the time you people "get it" it will be too late.
You'll be paying for imported water, breathing from a tank, and dreaming of how it used to be. One day the oil will be gone, the water and air will be toxic, and you'll be out of fuel again, but there will be no place to go.

@Ackdacka Or you could just chill in your natural gas heated home on the internet making random posts with your computer that was made with oil that uses electricity made from coal. Whatever...
