  • It makes some noise there is no doubt, but if you dial it in it makes a low constant hum. When I first got it I wasn't sure if it slowly got quieter as it wore a path into the shaft or if I just became more used to it or both. I really don't notice it much now.

  • are the MH expensive on the light bill?

  • They would be, but my landlord includes the utilities in with the rent. The power consumption of my total system would probably cost an extra $150 a month for electricity alone. 500 watts of halides (8 hrs./day), 260 watts of PCs (12 hrs./day), 600 watts of halogens (16 hrs./day), and about 500 watts of pumps and heaters (24 hrs./day).

  • I was thinking of making a super simple wave box using already made technology from trains.

    The wheel keeps going around plunging a stick down with some flat surface on the bottom of the stick.
