B-Girl Bench - Piece

Spoken word artist, Piece, performed a childhood poem at Neumos for the Youth Speaks Battle of the Ages Poetry Slam on Oct. 20th, 2008. Piece has been an integral part of the Seattle hip hop scene, been a long time teaching artist, and has been actively involved in the community for over a decade. She released her sophmore album, Street Smartz in Dec. 2007 and is enjoying continued success in her artistic career. Toni Hill, Piece, DJ B-Girl, Julie C. and Beloved 1 all performed during the B-Girl Bench set at the Battle of the Ages.
