  • @BradyQuinn It totally depends on where we are in our training but common sets are.

    5 x 4-5 This is during the offseason when we are loading up the volume

    4 x 2-3 This is during the season, just trying to get the legs firing without exhausting out the leg muscles.

    Hope that helps. Its good to vary the sets and reps (we go as high as 8-12 reps sometimes).

  • when you do squats, how many sets and reps do you do normally

  • @Sanuck81 Not in the weight room. Lift twice a week. As for general exercise, as speed skating is primarily legs focused they get worked everyday.

  • do you train the legs in consecutive days.
