Good attempt b Talat Aziz. This is song is so powerful that every singer wants to try it out!! I have done the same. Pls. check out pk ratan on youtube for my rendition. I admit that Khan Sahab Mehdi Hassan is and will remain a 'God' of gazals.. We singers can only pay tribute to him.

This performance was okay. It goes to show the great difficulty of singing this song that even Talat Aziz couldn't sing it well. Although I must say, I enjoyed the tabla and flute.
