Unique meditations of spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007) from the early years of 1986-1988 from Queens, New York. They have been filmed with a Super-8 camera and later digitized on the computer. The soundtrack is from the "Flute for Meditation" CD by the master himself. To the Meditating Mind: this is the Music.

@beaudashing if his meditation works (and I'm sure it does), he sees nothing, but feels purse silence/love. These were my feelings after a week of meditation - they lasted for two weeks, then I started to work, use a computer, cellphone etc. etc. again. The goal must be: leave your ego behind - stop thinking.

@beaudashing He appears to be immersed in a spiritual state that is beyond waking awareness. That's extraordinary since most people only experience a small portion of this when they go to sleep. You can be sure he is not bound to the things of ordinary life. But what is experience really? The body mind and it's subtle processes are still binding.
