Hey live ur New tank btw how is ur canister filter working do you think its better than the aquaclear I have a 55 gallong tank my self and I have 2 aquaclear 110 give Mr some advise should I get a canister or what you think

@petterblade well its an opinion more than anything. I love the aquaclear, its very good HOB filter. In my opinion the best you can buy. I have heard of people that have had them for 15 years and longer and they still run good. But im absolutely liking the canister better. Thers more than 2 times the media so there's more media cleaning the water and it doesn't hafto be changed as often. I really like the flow that it creates to. So its if you wanna pay the higher prices, there worth it.

rotala, here's a tip though, watch that stuff when you really start trimming it, because when i kept trimming mine in my 10 gallon old tank, the plant said hey i can't grow up lets grow out, and my rotala started taking over other plants/ good luck with that dwarf sag roots are long and connected i like it man i say keep it in

@samuelwaynefoleyjr i have only trimmed it once. But i started noticing that it is not growing up like i wanted it to. Do you have any advise for what i could do about that??

And idk ill think about the dwarf sag its just kinda annoying lol

@scareface1197 give rotals iron and POTASSSIUM and they're go crazy and if you use co2 or something like excell or leaf zone they'll grow nutts

@samuelwaynefoleyjr They will grow up? Cause i use co2 and i have clay in the dirt (iron) but i have never used potassium on my tank before
